# Get started

Sign in on Tooluse.net, open an integration and select Connect integration. Use Tooluse.net credentials when offered, or follow the integration’s guide to obtain your own credentials. Choose the commands your agent needs and save. If prompted, complete provider authorization.

Open API keys and create a key with only the required commands. Save it before closing the dialog. New commands are never added to an existing key automatically.

Open Configure your client, select Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, and copy the configuration. Store your key in the client's TOOLUSE_API_KEY environment variable. Restart the client if it does not inherit the new environment.

My integrations shows connections and logical call counts for the current UTC day and month. Counts include failed calls and new requests served from cache; a retry with the same idempotency key is counted once. These counts are not provider charges. Use Refresh usage after calling a tool.
