# What is a headless browser?

Headless Chromium runs browser automation without a local desktop window. It still loads pages, executes JavaScript and uses network resources.

Tooluse.net gives each created session a remote browser connection and HTTP controls. A live-view URL can show the same remote page when the transport provides it. Headless mode does not guarantee that a website will accept automation or remove authentication and human-check requirements.

See Create a browser session and the Browsers API for authentication, request fields, and limits.
