# Browser extensions

<p>Chrome extension upload and session <code>extensionId</code> are not available in the Tooluse.net browser API. Do not upload an archive or pass an unsupported field to session creation.</p>
<p>For page-level automation, use native <a href="/browsers/getting-started/using-browser-session">browser actions</a> or a CDP connection. This does not install a persistent Chrome extension.</p>
